Tam Cang is operating its depot systems in major ports of Vietnam: Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh city. Our Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh city depot systems have 30,000/75,000 square meters of storage space respectively, with 3,000 TEU capacity in the former and 7,500 TEU capacity in the latter. To ensure containers safety and customers service satisfaction, the facilities only employ five height stacking for the containers.
All depot systems is capable of expanding their storage capacity to meet customers’ demands.
Customers can have confidence in reliable storage and dispatch of empty containers at our depots, with services being carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
In Ho Chi Minh city, Tam Cang JSC is operating a centralised depots system that is strategically located close to the Cat Lai Container Terminal, which allows for greater flexibility and efficiency when it comes to containers storage and repairs.
12 reach stackers are in operation for the handling of empty and laden containers, with 4 in Hai Phong and 8 in Ho Chi Minh city. All reach stackers are equipped with a Radio Frequency System (RFS) which allows employees to accept, release and/or store containers in real time.
RFS in combination with our state-of-the-art software application Container Management System (CMS), provides information on depot stock and container locations.
By utilizing this system we are able to reduce and even avoid waiting time for truckers, and also result in better ‘first in/first out’ (FIFO) performance for our customers. By using EDI that connects the depot management system to customers’ information management system, we can provide many different types of information or reports about the number of containers being stored, accepted, or released, provide estimate of repair, etc. Correspondence with customers is carried out via email, codeco/corpan protocol 24/7.

We provide container repair and maintenance services for standard empty dry containers (including reefer containers) and specialised equipments in compliance with IICL6 and following customers’ specific requirements.
Tam Cang JSC employs highly skilled and experienced repair technicians that are specially trained to carry out out all container repair and modification. We ensure a high quality of repair and maintenance for equipments, attachments, or components. Replacements for components are sourced from reputable providers to keep up the high standard.
Repair estimates are made based on thorough and detailed inspection upon entrance, carried out by our experienced and specialised inspectors in accordance with IICL6.
Our Hai Phong branch provides Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) for reefer containers.
Tam Cang JSC provides container cleaning services that comply with environmental requirements and standards. We also offer disinfection or chemical cleaning when requested by customers.
